You are bidding on a puzzle postcard commemorating postage stamps issued by the United States Postal Service on May 23, 1988. This Commemorative Puzzle Series postcard is of Scott stamp #2343 and honors South Carolina. Depicted on the stamp are examples of local scenery. The Palmetto, which is the state tree, is fanned by sea grasses along a beautiful beach.

This mailable postcard is also a puzzle. A clear plastic seal covers the front of each postcard securing the puzzle pieces in a frame forming a puzzle tray. The stiff plastic covering snaps off on the dotted lines along the border of the picture in order to access the puzzle. The heavy duty cardboard puzzle can be used over and over again.
